Wilhelm Richard Wagner was born in Leipzig, German May 22, 1813 who died at February 13, 1883. He is an influential composer, music theorist and writer, his best-known works are opera. Antara Doa dan Keluh-Kesah; Meneladani Kesufian Abu-Nawas

Wa koola rabbukum id’uunii astajib lakum, innalladziina yastakbiruuna ‘an ‘ibaadati sayad khuluuna jahannama daakhiriina. (Al Mu’min: 60)

60. Dan Tuhanmu berfirman: "Berdoalah kepada-Ku, niscaya akan Kuperkenankan bagimu. Sesungguhnya orang-orang yang menyombongkan diri dari menyembah-Ku[۞] akan masuk neraka Jahannam dalam keadaan hina dina".

[۞] yang dimaksud dengan menyembah-Ku di sini ialah berdoa kepada-Ku.

Dari ayat di atas, kita semua pasti dapat memahami. Sebagai makhluk dan sebagai perwujudan rasa syukur, kita diwajibkan untuk memanjatkan doa. Adanya anggapan "manusia adalah makhluk yang serba repot. Jikalau meminta, kita dianggap serakah dan serba kekurangan. Tetapi, ketika tidak meminta, muncul persepsi bahwa kita adalah makhluk yang sombong",

Mortalitas dalam Immortalitas Karya Sastra

Kita selalu disuguhi dengan dua kata antonim tersebut dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Mortalitas yang berasal dari kata “mortality” adalah ihwal yang pada akhirnya mati oleh berbagai faktor. Sedang imortalitas (immortality) berarti suatu kondisi keabadian, atau sesuatu yang dapat menjadi abadi.

Al Qur’an adalah salah satu contoh karya imortalitas yang diwariskan kepada umat islam, bahkan kepada seluruh umat manusia. Dari keindahan bahasa, sejarah telah menceritakan dan mengelukkan keindahan bahasanya ketika ia digugat para penyair Quraisy, dan masih banyak lagi. Sehingga, berbagai upaya dilakukan umat manusia untuk membongkar rahasia tersurat maupun tersirat. Tetapi, semua itu harus kembali pada esensi termaktub, bahwa ia bukanlah hasil kreasi manusia.

Poetry is dead periods. It is stopped on the stiffness of itself that had been hidden by flexibility. It could not move too far, when the "words" had been represented its existence. Hence the creation of poetry is a kind of training suicide so many times.
